Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of the PropsIQ website at propsiq.app and the PropsIQ iOS application (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Who you are contracting with
PropsIQ is built and operated by Lucas Azzopardi, an individual sole proprietor based in Ontario, Canada. There is no company: "we" and "us" in these Terms mean that one person, who can be reached at azzopalj@gmail.com. If that changes — if the Service is later operated by an incorporated entity — this section will name it.
1. Who may use PropsIQ
You must be at least 18 years old, or the minimum age at which gambling is legal where you live, whichever is higher. You are responsible for knowing whether sports wagering is lawful in your jurisdiction. PropsIQ is available in places where wagering is prohibited, because PropsIQ itself is not wagering — but that does not make wagering lawful for you.
2. What the Service is
PropsIQ aggregates publicly available sports data — schedules, rosters, box scores, weather and betting lines published by sportsbooks — and presents statistics, hit rates and model-generated estimates derived from it. You can also build your own scoring models and track bets you have placed elsewhere.
PropsIQ does not accept, place, broker or settle wagers, does not hold funds, and is not a sportsbook. Any bet you record in the Service is a note you are keeping for yourself about something you did somewhere else.
3. What the Service is not
Nothing in the Service is financial, investment, legal or betting advice. Model outputs, confidence scores, edges and analysis are estimates produced by software from historical data. They describe patterns in what has already happened; they do not predict what will happen, and they carry no guarantee of profitability or accuracy.
You alone decide what to do with the information, and you alone bear the consequences. Do not wager money you cannot afford to lose.
4. Accounts and subscriptions
Access to the Service requires an account and a paid subscription. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for everything done through your account. Tell us promptly if you believe it has been used without your permission.
Subscriptions are offered monthly or annually and renew automatically at the then-current price until cancelled. The price shown at checkout is the price you pay for that term; we will give notice before any price change takes effect for you.
Two separate billing rails. A subscription bought on the web is billed by Stripe and cancelled from your account page. A subscription bought in the iOS app is billed by Apple and can only be cancelled through your Apple ID settings — we are not able to cancel it for you. If you hold both, cancelling one does not cancel the other.
Cancelling stops the next renewal. It does not end the term you have already paid for: your access continues until the end of the current billing period.
5. Refunds
For subscriptions purchased through the App Store, refunds are handled entirely by Apple under its own policies. We cannot issue or deny them.
For subscriptions purchased on the web, contact azzopalj@gmail.com. If we issue a full refund of a payment, the subscription is cancelled and access ends immediately. A partial refund or account credit does not end your subscription — it stays active and continues to renew until you cancel it.
If a payment is charged back or disputed with your bank or card issuer, access ends immediately regardless of the amount in question.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Scrape, crawl, or bulk-download data from the Service, or use automated means to access it beyond ordinary use of the app in a browser.
- Resell, redistribute, or republish PropsIQ data, model outputs or analysis, or use them to operate a competing product.
- Share your account credentials, or use one account for multiple people.
- Attempt to bypass the paywall, interfere with the Service's operation, or access accounts or data that are not yours.
- Use the Service for anything unlawful where you are.
7. Data, availability and accuracy
Sports data and betting lines come from third-party sources and from the sportsbooks themselves. We do not control them and cannot guarantee that any figure is current, complete or correct. Lines move constantly; a number shown here may already be stale, and a sportsbook is under no obligation to honour a price you saw on this site.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise uninterrupted access, and we may change, suspend or discontinue features. If we permanently discontinue a paid feature, we will refund the unused portion of your current term.
8. Your content
The models you build and the bets you track are yours. We store them so they follow you across your devices, and we do not sell them or publish them. You may delete your account, and the data associated with it, from your account page.
Everything else in the Service — the software, the scoring methodology, the interface and the PropsIQ name — belongs to us, and your subscription is a licence to use it, not a transfer of ownership.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PropsIQ is not liable for gambling losses, lost profits, or any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service — including losses arising from data that turned out to be inaccurate, delayed or unavailable. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before it arose.
Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, in which case they apply to you only as far as the law allows.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these Terms — in particular §6 — or where required by law. If we terminate your account without cause, we will refund the unused portion of your current term. You may stop using the Service at any time.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above, and where the change affects what you pay or what you receive, we will tell you before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept it.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply in it, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of Ontario have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, and you and we each consent to being sued there.
Nothing here removes a right you have under the consumer-protection law of the place you live that cannot be contracted out of. If you are a consumer resident outside Ontario, the mandatory protections of your home jurisdiction still apply to you, and this section yields to them to that extent.
Before filing anything, email azzopalj@gmail.com. Most disputes about a charge are a refund, and a refund does not need a court.
